Join us Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th to help us celebrate the latest edition to East Coast Garden Center...Produce Alley! This new space highlights our fruiting trees & shrubs and connects our herb & veggie greenhouses for easy access and shopping!
Saturday, May 19th: Chef Paul Cullen, while touring the world with classic rock band Bad Company, discovered his passion for fine wine, exquisite food, and the captivating culture that envelops it all. Join us as he creates and shares a trio of food & wine tastings that highlight the fresh ingredients you can grow right in your own garden. This culinary adventure with Chef Paul Cullen is on Saturday, May 18th at 12pm. Tickets are $50 per person and includes a cooking demo, 3 food & wine tastings and live music. Ticket proceeds benefit Cordrey Charities and ‘Paul Kares’, a non-profit for the culinary & musical arts to help young adults follow their dreams. Space is limited! Pre-registration is required.
Sunday, May 19th: Join us for the inspiring story of organic gardener Jeff Permar, whose garden nuisance, Chunk the Groundhog, became an internet sensation. Experience his tale of how frustration morphed into understanding, and eventually, sharing his land with the charming critters. Jeff and the ECGC team are coming together to help you think outside the box for organic pest management solutions for your veggie garden. Learn about the magic of companion planting and container gardening! This class will be held at the Garden Center on Sunday, May 19th at 11am. Pre-registration is required.
